Abstract: in this article compiling principles of English-Uzbek and Uzbek-English dictionaries were critically investigated and practical recommendations were given for improving their role in teaching English at school, lyceum, college and higher education system.

Abstract: in the past few years there has been a growing pressure on both teachers and students to prove, show and “certify” what they are able to do. There has been a growing concern for productivity, for the returns that school work can bring in. The emphasis seems to shift more and more towards competence - what you can do - and towards performance - showing that you can do it. In a way, this has resulted in a shift of attention away from the how - how you achieve that competence, the process you have to go through, and also what schools and teachers can do to make learning possible and rewarding for all students.

Abstract: this article makes certain that grammar teaching is not an easy process as it is perceived by the great auditory. Authors gave bright examples that make the reader think. And this process is also confused. It’s because authors’ ability to use lively instances referring to teachers’ methodology. The terms which are under stress throughout the article are inseparable units in every teaching aspect.

Abstract: in this article authors made effort to distinguish the most substantial features of essay writing. On the basis of their talk essay has some resemblance with other pieces of writings. However it has sturdy specificity that makes it differ in terms of length, structure and procedure. Throughout the article we will get detailed and precise data about the certain type of writing that is called essay.
