Abstract: the article raises the question of modern views on the pathogenesis and algorithms for diagnosing metabolic syndrome in children. The close relationship of violations of the morpho functional state of the hepatobiliary system and the pancreas with the development of hormonal and metabolic disorders is shown.

Abstract: the review addresses the issues of etiology and pathogenesis, classification and treatment of such complications of diabetes mellitus as diabetic foot syndrome (DFS). The role of micro- and macroangiopathy, peripheral diabetic neuropathy, foot deformities and infection of damaged tissues as the main factors in the development of DFS is characterized.

Abstract: сhronic heart failure (CHF) is a serious problem for all developed countries of the world, despite significant progress in treatment, since the prognosis of these patients remains unfavorable. This is primarily due to the aging of the population, since a sufficient number of drugs have appeared that have a positive effect on the life expectancy of these patients. However, the introduction of centers for monitoring patients with CHF will be able to prolong and improve the quality of life of patients with CHF.

Аннотация: злокачественные опухоли являются второй причиной после остеопороза по частоте развития патологических компрессионных переломов позвоночника. Опухоли скелета составляют около 1% всех новообразований человека, а новообразования позвоночника встречаются в 1,5% случаев. В структуре опухолей позвоночника преобладающее большинство составляют метастатические опухоли. Цель исследования - выявить эффективность задне-бокового доступа при удалении экстрадуральных опухолей спинного мозга. Клинический материал представляет 249 пациентов с опухолевым поражением позвоночника, оперированных через разные доступы оперативного вмешательства. Задне-боковой доступ, предложенный нами, был использован у 117 больных с экстрадуральными опухолями спинного мозга. Результаты - разработанная дифференцированная хирургическая тактика позволила получить достоверно и существенно лучшие результаты лечения по сравнению с традиционной, с улучшением результатов лечения по неврологическому статусу в 1,3-2,1 раза.
